  • Winter is coming closer and it's time to get inside and warm up. In our opinion, nothing is better than a hot plate of mansaf when it's cold outside. This traditional dish is popular throughout the Levant, but is considered the national dish of Jordan. Mansaf is deliciously tender lamb meat cooked in jameed (dried youghurt) sauce, and served on rice with roasted nuts on top and shirak bread. A Jordanian Bedouin cook is joining us for this class to teach us how to make it. We'll spend a couple of hours cooking together, and the meal should be on the table by 7:30.
